Windsurfing

Windsurfers enjoy unrestricted sailing at all times, except two or three sailing open event days per year, or when a red flag is flying. We only ask that safety is kept in mind and common sense should be employed when dinghies are racing.  Windsurfers should operate buddy basis supervision when the rescue craft is not operating or when dinghies are not on the water.

Because of the club's size and location, it attracts a regular core of short board sailors.  Course racing is sometimes organised and there are occasional demonstration days and other meetings. Courses are also available.

T15

A group of windsurfers have been attending the T15 events as the Halifax Hurricanes and have been doing rather well.

Below are links to the website charting their progress. Do take the time and trouble to visit these sites as they are full of information and the pages are some of the best laid out I have seen.
