From Halifax town centre follow the signs to Wainstalls. On Pellon Lane there are signs for the sailing club along this road. Carry straight on this road until it flattens out to a moor land stretch, from here the wind farm overlooking the club can usually be seen. Keep straight on passing the Crossroads public house, then the Delvers. When arriving at the fork in the road take the right hand one. Carry on to towards the wind farm, crossing the cattle grid after the wind farm car park. Carry on and the reservoir can be seen down to the left, the entrance is on the left through a gate that will normally be closed, please close it after entering. There is also a sign to the right of the gate. Continue down the track to the clubhouse where ample car parking is to be found. |
