| The sailing season starts in late March or early April and runs until mid November. Dinghy racing is organised on Sunday afternoons and Wednesday evenings. Informal races may take place providing safety regulations are met, ie safety boat cover. There are also several special events and Open Meetings. |

Racing is provided for General Handicap classes. Members race Sprint 15 cats, Lasers, Mirrors, Herons and Topper

Buddy Dinghy Sailing No dinghy sailing may take place unless a mechanically propelled rescue boat is available attended by an authorised coxswain and competent crew, except that dinghy sailing may take place under the following conditions for the period June to August inclusive:- i) When another fully crewed dinghy is rigged, on the water and available to give assistance as necessary. ii) All helms of participating boats are over the age of 18 years. iii) Any members going afloat when there is no manned rescue boat available does so entirely at their own risk |

Boat / Categories permitted to launch: All classes of sailing craft and sailboards. Dinghies and multihulls over 16ft & kite surfers are not permitted Amongst others, Contenders, Sprint 15, Laser (All rig variants), Streaker, Topper and Supernova are all sailed here. Boat / Categories not permitted to launch: Power boats Type of water: Reservoir Size of water: 90 acres |
