AUTUMN 2008 - TROPHY DAY |
|
Light winds and a gloomy day made for a low turnout and as the afternoon progressed the dropping wind caused a number of Sprints to drop out. In the first two races Ben Tunnacliffe showed Robin Boardman, both on Sprint 15's, a clean pair of heels but all to no avail. Kevin Holmes in a laser was able to take advantage of the light winds and won two of the three races to win the Trophy. Richard Oldham still learning the ropes of his new phantom was able to clinch the 'Most Improved' Trophy.
