The fourth sailing day of the season brought a light, occasionally moderate NE wind which propelled 10 dinghies and 2 windsurfers around the pond. OD Charles Watson treated the fleet to water starts whilst Steve Davison looked after the fleet from the safety boat. The pursuit race resulted in a dead heat for first place between Tim Holden and Kevin Homes, much to our race secretary’s disgust as his calculations don’t allow for joint positions (yet!). Kevin Holmes was the day’s winner with a joint first, two outright firsts, and a second place. Full results can be found here. Thanks to John Lamb for the below picture and to Charles Watson for the body of this report.
